Launched in August 1999, Ideavillage takes new and innovative product ideas from concept to mass retail shelves. To help manage the large volume of orders received, and in order to become EDI-enabled to meet trading partner requirements, Ideavillage chose eBRIDGE Software as their electronic data interchange (EDI) solution. EDI is an established means for managing the computer-to-computer exchange of business data in standard formats. eBRIDGE Software's eBridge product enables Ideavillage to integrate data from their Microsoft Great Plains eEnterprise 7.0 solution with their third-party warehouse and the accounting packages of Ideavillage's customers and trading partners.
