Founded in 1995 through a strategic partnership involving BT (British Telecommunications) and Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Albacom is a leading Italian provider of telecommunications dedicated to business (at a national and international level). Albacom required a unified, centralized budgeting and forecasting system, one that incorporated year-to-date (YTD) data for monthly variance reporting within the same environment. After a lengthy evaluation process, Albacom selected OutlookSoft Everest to carry out the project. As far as the budget process was concerned, a model departing from year-to-date input key drivers was designed. Furthermore, it could be modified during the auditing phase, further augmenting the system's flexibility.
