QuickBooks Retail Management Software, Point of Sale 4.0 (POS) is a sophisticated retail management system that allows retailers to track merchandise purchases and sales, record customer information, process payments, and run insightful business reports based on real-time inventory information. QuickBooks POS is sold as software only or bundled with point-of-sale hardware (cash drawer, credit card reader, bar code scanner, and receipt printer). As an optional service, retailers can also authorize and settle credit card transactions and process debit/ATM card transactions.
