Israel's Pelephone is unquestionably at the cutting edge of the cellular telephone business. As part of a general overhaul of its IT infrastructure, and after an extended period of intense testing of some different proposed solutions, Pelephone decided to deploy the most scalable and powerful customer analytics solution yet developed anywhere - the Applix iTM1. This software provided tools to analyse in real time the massive amounts of data generated by cellular usage on a million-plus user network. The analytics solution in question was supplied by Applix, Inc. the global provider of planning, analytics, and customer relationship management solutions, in partnership with BICONIX, a leading provider and designer of Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) software solutions.
