The Gramm Leach Bliley Act (GLBA) is the most extensive and important banking legislation to be enacted in the last 50 years. GLBA was designed to modernize the banking system in order to help financial institutions face competitive pressures and address the new risks associated with the networked world. As part of GLBA, Congress set forth a series of standards and guidelines designed to prevent unauthorized access to customer information. These guidelines call for a specific set of components that must be a part of any financial institution's information security program. LURHQ's Managed Security Services provide financial institutions with the Incident Handling capabilities they need to successfully comply with GLBA security guidelines and stop attacks before damage is done.
