Bluetooth is a digital wireless data transmission standard in the 2.4-GHz ISM band aimed at providing a short range wireless link between laptops, cellular phones and other devices. The air interface modulation is Gaussian FSK with a raw bit rate of 1 Mb/s. This paper presents a probabilistic treatment of the performance of a Bluetooth piconet under cochannel interference from other Bluetooth piconets.
