By porting its StoreLine retail point-of-sale (RPOS) terminal to Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, Retalix is able to provide its customers with more features in a smaller footprint and deliver StoreLine terminals to market quickly through easier customization. With its broad support for new hardware and extensive out-of-the-box driver support, Windows XP Embedded enabled Retalix to port its existing version of StoreLine POS devices to Windows XP Embedded in less than two days, giving Retalix the competitive edge in features, price, and time to market.
