As information and data management become more and more important to businesses, Network Appliance's (NetApp) storage solutions have been put to work by an increasing number of companies. As NetApp continued to grow, the cost of maintaining multiple systems climbed. They began to realize that the complexity and the need for incredible amounts of reconciliation of information made the best-of-breed architecture not very scalable. In mid-2002, NetApp began to replace its fragmented systems with Oracle Applications delivered via Oracle E-Business Suite On Demand (EBSO).
