(VSC) is a leading distributor and manufacturer of high quality building materials and industrial products for the construction, telecommunication, home appliances, and automotive industries. VSC found that its legacy software had increasing difficulty providing management with an integrated, centralized view of the company. As a result, the company decided to invest in a modern enterprise resource planning system (ERP) to better manage their global supply chain, and create greater value and satisfaction for their customers. After carefully evaluating different alternatives in the market, VSC decided to go with Oracle E-Business Suite.
