QRS, an industry leader in collaborative commerce software solutions for the retail industry, wanted to replace a custom, nonextensible intranet publishing process with a highly integrated and robust knowledge management solution that would give employees strong collaboration capabilities and convenient access to information and resources, at a lower total cost of ownership. Working with Microsoft Consulting Services, QRS designed a solution based on Microsoft office SharePoint Portal Server 2003 with Windows SharePoint Services and CorasWorks Workplace Suite.
