Ohio Casualty Group (OCG) is the 45th largest property/casualty insurance group in the United States. OCG wanted to improve the efficiency and productivity of its claims adjusters and appraisers. OCG deployed a wireless technology initiative across nearly 200 auto insurance field adjusters, appraisers, management and support staff in 40 states. They carried IBM Thinkpads, equipped with Novatel Wireless Merlin PC cards and Sierra Wireless AirCards - operating over a Sprint CDMA2000 1X network. OCG realized a host of clearly quantifiable ROI results from going wireless.
