In April 2001 the UK Government auctioned 3G Spectrum for around ?22 billion to five operators, including the four existing operators together with a new entrant. New ways of thinking, together with new methodologies, are required for 3G Optimisation. Mason's unique 3G Optimisation methodologies and bespoke toolsets will be applied to the network design process to optimise the network design for a leading UK 3G Mobile Operator. Mason has commenced the WCDMA Optimisation drive test surveys on behalf of the Client.
