With a comprehensive offering of home medical equipment and services, the Rotech family of companies is a national leader in helping patients manage their treatment at home. Rotech needed a product that could create a services network encompassing 600 locations, tying disparate systems together. It had to provide more visibility into their operations and an opportunity for enhanced customer care. Given the high degree of heterogeneity in their computing environment and a strong desire to maintain a competitive advantage in their IT infrastructure costs, Rotech chose an SOA approach. With this architecture in place, Rotech planned to reuse Web service components, easing future application development. To achieve this, Rotech chose Blue Titan Network Director.
