Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications (LMGT), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lockheed Martin Corporation, is a premier global provider of network services and advanced technology solutions to enterprise, commercial and government customers. The challenge faced was to improve the management of its time division multiple access (TDMA) networks, which are used by major telecommunications carriers to transmit their public telephone services worldwide. Evidian's OpenMaster for Telecom software is being used to help centrally manage INTELSAT's global operations from its headquarters in Washington, D.C., OpenMaster for Telecom is highly available and scalable, so it can be adapted to help LMGT meet INTELSAT's needs.
