The Insurance Corporation of British Columbia (ICBC) hosts a powerful data warehouse on Sun servers and storage to leverage information to provide improved and effective road transportation services. As ICBC's business grew, so too, did the SAP application and the data warehouse. As SAP required more and more system resources and disks, it became apparent that it needed its own dedicated system. This gave ICBC the opportunity to purchase a new Sun Enterprise 10000 server and the Sun StorEdge A5200 disk arrays which meant that they had the latest technology from Sun for their data warehouse.
