Startup ZiXXo Inc. needed an easy-to-manage - yet powerful - security solution to protect its rapidly growing web-based advertising and coupon services. The solution would have to protect the firm's centralized servers and other critical infrastructure, and scale to accommodate geographic and volume growth. Key requirements included remote manageability, low entry cost, easy setup, and Microsoft compliance. ZiXXo chose the new HP ProLiant DL320 Firewall/VPN/Cache Server running Microsoft Internet Security & Acceleration (ISA) Server 2004 to protect its HP ProLiant server and Microsoft application infrastructure.
