When the state of Michigan was ready to implement its vision of 1-to-1 learning statewide, it chose HP as its technology partner as they required providing 1:1 learning opportunities for middle school students throughout Michigan and ensuring integration of technology into the curriculum. Now students and teachers alike are using wireless networks, HP notebook computers and software, and supporting infrastructure in middle schools across the state. Many of the teachers have pursued professional development training available through HP. And HP has created and staffed a 24x7 Help Desk developed specifically to support the state's Freedom to Learn (FTL) program.
