This paper summarises the range of measures taken to improve CAPEX procurement at NATS. A recent procurement improvement programme has taken a very broad look at all supply chain management practices at NATS, including those relating to organisation, skills, processes, suppliers and tools. NATS procurement operations have subsequently been benchmarked against a number of leading edge organisations to generate a vision of future supply chain management.
