This paper discusses three areas related to lessons learned in responding to change: the reality of the concept of change, managing the response to change, and migrating in response to change. This paper draws on the wide and varied national, state and local, and academic relationships of both the Consortium and SITC and includes substantial interaction with senior industry executives through the Consortium's Board of Directors and a range of technical advisory boards and groups that interact with both organizations.
