This paper will examine women's wage patterns before and after structural reforms were implemented in three Latin American countries, to identify how women fared in the post-reform period as compared to the pre-reform period. Women are the unit of analysis for two reasons. First, although their labor force participation rates have been monotonically increasing over the past thirty years, very little work on women's wages in the region has been done. Second, the question of whether or not structural reforms affect women across labor markets in a similar fashion has not yet been addressed.
