An emerging customer-oriented approach to digital-government provides the incentive for this Enterprise Architecture Development Tool-Kit designed to improve information sharing across state and local government boundaries. The focus is the design of the underlying infrastructure that makes information sharing possible. The goal is development of a Tool-Kit that state and local governments might use as a guide to develop their own architecture for designing, implementing and maintaining the infrastructure to support their networks and systems.
