BP is one of the best known companies in the oil and gas industry, and certainly one of the most successful. But to focus on its core business, BP recognised the need to find a partner that could manage its crucial document processes. By outsourcing BP's document management to a dedicated team, the company has been able to spend more time concentrating on what it does best - its core business of oil and gas - knowing that its data is being managed efficiently and effectively. To achieve this objective, BP brought in Pitney Bowes Management Services (PBMS) to manage the entire document life cycle for some of its larger businesses.
