In order to ensure back-up and the accessibility of its approximately five terabytes of data, CILEA (The Lombard Inter-University Consortium for Automatic Processing) decided to look for a data management and back-up solution to replace its previous one, which - while still valid from the point of view of applications - was inadequate in terms of efficiency and back-up speeds for such a large amount of information. After carefully evaluating the various solutions available on the market, CILEA decided to choose LEGATO DiskXtender, integrating it into an architecture managed in turn by LEGATO NetWorker.
