Valdese Weavers is one of the industry's leading producers of jacquard upholstery and multipurpose fabrics. Valdese Weavers implements the MM, PP, FI, CO, and SD modules and the product data management (PDM) functionalities of SAP R/3 3.1i as well as a shop-floor control system. All modules, including PDM, went live in April 1999. PDM is the main driver of this project. EMC Documentum Consulting is responsible for the complete process of the PDM introduction, from planning to execution.
