Developing adaptive, dynamic, enterprise architectures within and across the states, territories, cities and counties is key to insuring all levels of government are successful in managing change, establishing interoperability among agencies and jurisdictions, insuring information is available to those who need it, when they need it. Enterprise architecture provides the ongoing capability to monitor and modify intra-agency and inter-governmental business processes in an ever-changing environment. Finally, enterprise architecture is the means to increasing effectiveness, improving business processes, and ultimately, providing better service to citizens.
