Leadership is the process of persuasion or example by which an individual (or leadership team) induces a group to pursue objectives held by the leader or shared by the leader and his or her followers. This paper look at the study of leadership and compares the approaches of two leadership scholars, as they wrestle with these and other leadership questions like whether leaders are born, or are they made. It examines how leadership is taught and how it is learned.
