e-Procurement has drawn great attention and been adopted by increasing number of private and public organisations. However, simply having an e-Procurement system in place does not guarantee that it will bring about benefits in term of improved procurement management. The system must be measured and evaluated. This paper discusses the importance of measuring e-Procurement performance and the key elements in successfully developing a measurement framework for e-Procurement in Australian public sector.
