A global financial software company was nearing completion of its multi-year SAP implementation and preparing to go live. With less than three months to go before conversion, management realized that classroom training on SAP would be neither economical, nor sufficient to get users up and running on day one. Users needed to know how to use the complex system but they also needed to understand the new processes that went with it. They turned to Tier 1 for help. Tier 1 embarked on a rapid web-based training development initiative. In two weeks the consulting team had identified the design strategy for the courses, created a working model for how the processes and software intersected, and began documenting all the critical tasks and procedures that would be involved. In less than 90 days, Tier 1 designed, developed and rolled out several modules comprising multiple hours of courseware.
