One of the most forward thinking builder's merchants in the UK, MP Moran and Sons Ltd have been embracing the use of technology since the company formed back in the 70's, and working in partnership with XKO for the past 10 years. They had never used IT without real justification, nor jumped on board every technology bandwagon; they have always used IT to address a particular business issue. This prompted MP Moran to consider methods of automating business processes. Xeres promised to improve stock management, pricing, customer information and the trade counter operation.
