In this paper, a new method of the peak-to-average power ratio reduction is proposed for OFDM systems. This method can be reckoned as the modification of another method, known as the linear PAPR reduction by reference signal subtraction. It requires transmission of side information related to the actual amplitude and phase of the subtracted function. This information is used at a receiver for reconstruction of the original OFDM signal.
