The Municipality of Borkop in the west of Denmark is in the process of introducing a mobile solution for home nursing and care in the district - a solution that is based on the Nokia 9210i Communicator, and which makes the everyday work of social and healthcare workers and nurses easier while providing their elderly patients with improved service. In fact, the system at Børkop is based on the GSM network, although the Nokia 9210i Communicator also supports High Speed Data and, in the case of the new Nokia 9500 Communicator, GPRS and Wireless LAN.
