Carlsberg beer is probably one of the best-known exports from Denmark. Intermec's revolutionary 760 Color ruggedised handheld computer, running the latest Windows CE operating system proved to be just what Carlsberg needed, with its unique combination of three modes of radio communication in a single device - GSM/GPRS, 802.11b for wireless LANs and Bluetooth for short range communications. The piloting was thorough with Intermec Color 760 devices tested by Carlsberg's delivery drivers in Sweden alongside the existing technology and two other new devices.
