As a publicly traded company, Reliant Energy is one of thousands of U.S. corporations now required by law to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. The critical needs were assistance with documentation and control testing related to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, rapid deployment and easy integration into established IT infrastructure. Workflow support for review and approval process and a scalable Web content management system. Like the Sarbanes-Oxley Act itself, Reliant's application of the Stellent solution is in its early stages. However, the company already has experienced significant benefits above and beyond the typical increased productivity and reduced costs associated with most Stellent implementations.
