This paper provides a guide for people wishing to deploy a Mobile IPv6 (MIPv6) testbed at their site. The paper describes what infrastructure is required to support MIPv6 and details the installation, configuration and operation of the most suitable implementations. Three case studies of MIPv6 testbeds within 6NET are also provided in this paper.
