This paper describes a solution that allows a mobile node to receive and send multicast data via its Mobile IPv6 home agent. The motivations for providing multicasting to mobile devices are as follows. Mobile communications are becoming extremely popular and efficient and, in the mean time, multicasting has a lot to offer, with services such as Internet TV and radio, network games, and video-conferencing applications. It is clear that mobile users want to have access to such kind of multicast services.
