Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) helps make it easier to locate and connect to wireless networks in your home or in a wireless hot spot. This webcast will discuss how to use some of the new features in Windows XP SP2 for Wi-Fi 802.11 home networking. Changes in Windows XP SP2 include Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) support to help secure home networks, Wireless Provisioning Services (WPS) for automated configuration at public hot spots, a more informative Wireless Network Connection dialog box, a more informative status display, and other changes.
