Florida's rapidly growing Osceola County School District serves approximately 41,000 students at 45 campuses. The district depends on its network for everything from classroom instruction to attendance tracking and budgeting. When its multivendor network began to show its age, Osceola needed a network solution that could support its new communications applications such as voice, video, and wireless networking. The district migrated to a Cisco IP Communications solution that provides call management, wireless voice and data connectivity, and improved performance and network administration. The new network has reduced costs and provides a flexible platform for future applications.
