UNIFACE is Compuware's development and deployment environment for development, renewal, and integration of large and complex enterprise applications. It would be of most benefit to organisations that have a significant investment in legacy applications, and yet need to take advantage of technology developments for new applications. UNIFACE application development is based on Component-Based Development (CBD), which enables re-use of functionality from other applications. The tool offers technology independence, allowing an application to integrate with data and with other applications from both legacy and leading-edge technologies.
