Websense Enterprise Client Policy Manager (CPM) is an innovative end-point security solution that provides a zero-day solution for corporate desktops, laptops, and servers. CPM's category-based policies stop the execution of unauthorized applications, such as spyware, peer-to-peer file sharing, and hacking tools, while enabling flexible policy management of other applications, such as instant messaging or remote access tools, which only designated users or groups are allowed to use. This zero-day protection enables organizations to reach higher levels of end-point security and provides the added benefit of opening a view into end-point application use and a policy engine to empower IT managers to regain control of their application environment.
