While UML is rapidly becoming the industry standard for modeling, its standard definition does not contain a precise semantics. The semantics of UML is defined by a textual description coming with some meta-modeling description (an of abstract syntax of the language). This paper presents a UML formalization approach using Abstract State Machines (ASM).
