Sovereign Bank is the third largest financial institution in the northeastern United States. Sovereign Bank wanted wireless network access to enable employee mobility and for disaster recovery purposes. Sovereign Bank turned to Cisco for a secure wireless solution that complements its existing Cisco based wired network. The wireless solution for six regional offices encompasses more than 25 Cisco Aironet 1200 Series and Aironet 350 Series access points. The Cisco Wireless Security Suite provides enterprise-class security for the bank's entire wireless LAN (WLAN).
