Canon is known as a company that implements high value-added products. It needed a 3D design tool that would improve efficiency of their 3D designers, increase communication with their external suppliers such as mold makers and foreign factories and reduce prototype iterations. As a result, CoCreate's OneSpace Designer Modeling was selected as the standard CAD tool for Canon's Office Equipment Department. Canon first used OneSpace Designer Modeling to design the Canon LBP-1210 personal laser beam printer. The client reduced several iterations in each stage of their product development process. It achieved design quality products at low costs and high performance and implemented rapidly a 3D design environment department-wide.
