J.A. Majors Company - the oldest medical book distributors in the U.S. - has 250 employees based at two locations. The company had a traditional printer infrastructure - with the corporate site being a good example - possessing a mix of 20 dedicated and workgroup printers, three fax machines, and three standalone copiers. The solutions were 11 HP LaserJet 4100mfps, 2 HP LaserJet 9000mfps and HP Web Jetadmin remote management software. The most immediate impact of the new contract with Cannon IV - after the implementation of the multi-function devices - was the physical reduction in office equipment and increased productivity.
