The State of Alabama provides WIC (Women, Infant and Children) services to thousands of women and children each year. The issues faced by Alabama WIC were unclaimed vouchers, costly fees, and time & money spent on postage for mailing vouchers and the man hours spent sorting vouchers. They chose Source Technologies MICR printers to install in each Alabama WIC office. FormsPartner, the electronic forms software solution was integrated with Alabama's AS/400-based system, enabling the offices to print on blank paper stock. WIC employees now locate recipients' account numbers through the AS/400 system and print the vouchers, including identifying number, logo, variable data, MICR line and authorized signature, at the local office.
