PeachDirect is an online retail company. Key to that plan was implementing a scalable enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that would allow the company to work more easily with a variety of partners. The retail firm decided to make that partnership tangible by agreeing to have Oracle E-Business Suite On Demand host and maintain all of its Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Collaboration Suite applications, including Oracle Financials, TeleSales, iStore, and Order Management. With Oracle Collaboration Suite, which is Web-based, they could buy almost any PC off the shelf, plug it in, and use the application.
