This paper integrates HTN planning and Semantic Web ontologies for defining agents capable of solving complex information integration tasks. The paper discusses how many Semantic Web applications will need access to closed-world information, but the nature of the Semantic Web makes it naturally an open-world. To overcome this problem, this paper presents extensions to the SHOE languages for representing LCW statements. This paper also discusses how LCW statements can be added to SHOE naturally due to its similarity to information integration approaches to using LCW.
