The client is a large Japan based application service provider offering VPN services to a large number of customers. Client wanted to re-route VPN traffic via another IPSec tunnel in case the primary link fails. They wanted a smooth failover so that it will appear very transparent to the end users and there would be no connection failure. The client's Head Quarters, Branches, Internet Data Center and the business continuity sites are connected via the MPLS VPN. The benefits were cost effective solution, ensured quality of service, IPSec based encryption to ensure data security, high scalability and remote access for mobile users.
