The PARLAY APIs are signalling protocol neutral APIs that allow third party service providers to access network capabilities in a controlled and communications technology independent manner. They include APIs for centralised conferencing. This paper focuses on the use of PARLAY conferencing APIs in a SIP signalling environment. The paper starts by giving some background information. The overall architecture and the mapping issues are then discussed.
