This report discusses the responsibilities of 22 federal agencies for the protection of the federal buildings they own and/or occupy. The objectives of this review were to determine the roles and responsibilities that federal departments, entities, and agencies (agencies) have in providing security for office space they occupy, whether security assessments of facilities had been completed, the types of security forces and technologies used to secure and protect federal buildings, funding for security operations.
