The Dell Remote Access Controller 4 (DRAC 4), introduced in eighth-generation Dell servers such as the Dell PowerEdge 1850 and PowerEdge 2850 servers, allows administrators to configure remote access controller (RAC) user permissions, thus improving security. This paper focuses on the use of the RAC graphical user interface and Racadm command-line interface to add and configure RAC users.
